Waste2Wear is a brand of Vision Textiles Shanghai. It is a sustainable and socially responsible company providing green solutions for the textile industry by recycling plastic bottles into high quality fabrics and products. The unique process involves turning environmentally damaging waste into sustainable polyester yarns. The recycled yarns are then combined with natural fibers to be woven or knitted into 100% eco-friendly fabrics, suitable for garments, home textiles and accessories. Every step of the Waste2Wear process is closely monitored and fully certified by international organizations, like Intertek, OEKO-TEX (Confidence in Textiles), SCS Global Services, Control Union (GRS v3) and BSCI in order to ensure not only the best quality products, but also the best ethical and environmental practices. Waste2Wear believes in making a difference. For this reason, we have partnered with organizations around the world like TARA in India for their Waste2Weave initiative, and Ocean Recovery Alliance in Hong Kong, in order to develop social and environmental programs that educate and economically empower people.

Waste2Wear: “We hope to run out-of-business one day because there will be no bottles to recycle anymore.”

All UseDem items are produced in cooperation with the Chinese retired and disabled community. We work primarily with an organization called Home Sweet Home who provides people in need with the support and training, necessary to become employable as well as provide them a job.
